3 NEW SMOOTHIE RECIPES

Sometimes we all get a little tired of the same old song and dance, that's why it's always fun to try new shake!  But if you're all stocked up with the classic chocolate and vanilla flavor's,  it's best to spice up your shake by getting creative!  Here are 3 delicious recipes to help give you some idea's for better smoothies:

Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Rivalus Promasil or RivalWhey Vanilla - 2 servings
  • 1/2 Cup pumpkin purée 
  • 1-2 Teaspoons pumpkin spice seasoning
  • 8 Ounces of fat free milk or water (Almond milk will also add a creamy texture)
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of cinnamon

Mix all the ingredients together in a blender and blend to desired thickness.

This recipe was provided by Jason Johnson, who says "This was my go to smoothie when I was cutting for Wheelchair Nationals".

Peppermint Blast Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Rivalus protein of choice (Try the mint chocolate flavor Promasil or Rival Whey) - 1 or 2 servings
  • 1 Cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 8 Ounces of fat free milk, water or almond milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon peppermint extract

Mix all the ingredients together in a blender and blend to desired thickness.

Tropical Peach Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Rivalus protein of choice - Vanilla or Strawberry OR Native Pro Mixed Berry!
  • 1/2 Peach
  • 1/3 Mango
  • 5-6 Strawberries for color
  • 8 Ounces of fat free milk, water or almond milk

Mix all the ingredients together in a blender and blend to desired thickness.
