Airport Security Trying to Steal My Gains

I went back and forth on trying to decide on what to write about for this months blog due to ideas from friends and family kept on coming as the days went by. While then it occurred to me on April 3rd, 2017 at 8:07 a.m. to write about my carry on luggage going through the Phoenix Airport Security. It all started when I was waiting for my sport bag carrying my Rivalus Supplements, workout shoes, headphones and jump rope to get through the Xray belt. While patiently waiting, I then noticed an extra TSA member come over to the screen looking very intently on what to search for. My stomach sank and palms started to get slightly sweaty knowing my bag was the reason for stopping the belt. I knew I had nothing illegal at all in my bag, but then it hit me, 4 decent size tubs with a “powder substance” sitting in there, waiting to get through. Literally saw my life basically flash before my eyes! Tub after tub being taken out and wiped down, for what I'm assuming hazardous material checks. Fortunately, I did not have to throw anything away because I’d be more than furious if I had to dispose half full tubs of such incredible products of Powder Burn 2.0, Steam, Post-RX, 1lb tub of Promasil and Enpulse.
We all know restrictions these days on what you can and can not take on to an airplane are very strict. Which I'm very thankful for! But I'm here to hopefully make your travel a little easier if you're the type of person, like myself, who like to keep the precious things close by.
First, you can individually put the amount of scoops you need in plastic baggies and label each bag what they exactly are. If you're going to be gone for 3 days, put the necessary amount of scoops you'll need from each product in separate bags. If gone for 4 days, do the same thing! TSA officials will and do appreciate the information listed for each particular item so they do not need to ask you detailed questions regarding the necessity for each product.
Secondly, if you do not want to take the time to separate each product into bags, you can simply remove each tub from your carry on before it goes through the XRAY belt. This saves time and the scrutiny of everyone looking at you while your bag is being takin off the belt early for further examination. No one likes the unwanted attention of having to be pulled aside for questioning and a “foreign substance rubdown” of each product as they go through your bag.
Lastly, you can simply just pack them into your checked luggage if you have room in it. Unfortunately I am one to always overpack no matter what trip I'm taking. It can be for only 1 day or 3, it does not matter, I pack way to much that could last me a week at least. But simply putting your products in your luggage would save you the stress and hassle of getting an extra unnecessary security check.
Whatever suits you in your life for packing your supplements for travel just stick to that. But I hope these couple of suggestions may help you think about what to do in the future when this problem comes up. Honestly, these ideas are very much appreciated by Airport Officials because I did go out of my way to ask what the best way to go about this problem was. Do what it takes to stay consistent with your workouts for best results. A healthy life is the best life!
Until next time!
