I totally understand. You're getting frustrated because you spend so much time in the gym and your not getting the results you think you deserve. Well I know how it can be and I want to help you with something I think is more important than the weights or food. It's so easy to walk into the gym pick up the weights and start smashing out some sets. Well here it is, your MIND is the most important part of all this guys. You have to be able to connect your mind to it all, from lifting each weight to each meal that you have it all starts with the mind. I feel it's the most underutilized part of this lifestyle. So let's get into some things that can help get control!

I like to write down things so that way you can see them daily and they don't have to be long drawn out things or goals. They can be as simple as I want to be ripped dad, or best in shape at your job, or be a pro who cares as long as you have something your getting ahead of the game. Give yourself deadlines and put some pressure on your mind, things will connect a little more when your in that gym knowing you have a clock ticking and a deadline to reach! It can be a deadline to get in shape for a wedding, a vacation, a show, or just straight up personal goal. Hire a coach to help work with you, having that accountability will for sure make you learn things fast and get in tune with yourself.

So I've mentioned a few things that look silly some might say but these things are actually big if you haven't learned how to get connected all the way. I've been an athlete my entire life and always trained myself to find new ways to let the world go when it's time to get after it because being distracted or stressed can completely take you out of being in control. I will tell you my secret to having such a powerful mind and connection in all I've done. Listen to motivational speeches, from normal life speakers to people within the fitness industry i'm always listening to them. It has taught me so much over the years especially when I get down or burn't out I dig for new videos to help drive me back to the top. I find ones that literally give me the gooesbumps and I put them on repeat daily until I learn it word for word. So to kind of wrap it up I encourage you guys to find that thing that allows your mind to free up for that time your going to go train so that as soon as you walk into the gym your instantly in the zone.
